What is a Pin Code?
Postal Index Number, PIN, or Pincode is the numerical system used by India Post for post offices or post codes. The PINcode has six digits. The first digit represents the area, the second the sub-region, the third the sorting district, and the final three the post office code. There are nine PIN zones in India.
